Well we got here on Staurday and the school is amazing. Wendy and I ended up in level 4 (out of 5) so we are very pleased.

The house we are staying in is in a very nice section of town. Our hostess is Mary Carmen and Chase is living very close by. Every day we go to school on something called a Combi. It´s a modified van made to squeeze as many people as possible in it while it careens down the street at unsafe speeds missing other cars and pedestrians by centimeters.

I am starting to associate the smell of warm corn totillas with the smell of home. Last night mary Carmen made flautas and they were very great. How can you go wrong with meat and fried tortillas.

The people here are wonderful.
